General conditions for using our services, websites and content

These Terms of Use govern your legal relationship with B2Tech and constitute a binding contract, under Brazilian law as applicable, in particular the Civil Code (Law No. 10,406/2002), the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990, when applicable) and the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014). For users residing in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the local legal protections most favourable to the user additionally apply.
1. Identification and Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are entered into between you ("User") and B2Tech ("B2Tech", "we", "us", "our"), identified below, and govern access to and use of the websites b2tech.io, blog.b2tech.io and future subdomains, as well as the services, content and features made available therein. By accessing, browsing or using any part of the websites, you represent that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, you must NOT access or use the services.

2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following terms have the meanings below:
- Websites: the domains b2tech.io, blog.b2tech.io and any subdomains operated by B2Tech.
- Services: the set of features made available through the Websites, including (without limitation) institutional content, blog, newsletter, contact forms and, in the future, a courses platform.
- Content: texts, images, videos, audio, code, course materials, articles, trademarks, logos and other elements published or made available on the Websites.
- User: natural or legal person who accesses and uses the Websites and Services.
- User Content: materials submitted, published or made available by the User through the Websites (messages, comments, form submissions, etc.).
3. Description of Services
B2Tech offers, through the Websites:
- Institutional content describing its software development, artificial intelligence consulting and technical training services;
- A blog with technical articles, tutorials and analysis, in Portuguese and English;
- Contact forms and newsletter;
- In the future, an online courses platform with video lessons, exercises and completion certificates, whose specific conditions will be set out in a separate agreement.
- B2Tech may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, modify, suspend or discontinue any Service, in whole or in part, as well as establish usage limitations.
4. Eligibility and Legal Capacity
To use Services that require a manifestation of will (such as newsletter signup, contact form or future course enrolment), you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 (eighteen) years old or are duly represented or assisted by your parents or legal guardians, under the Brazilian Civil Code;
- You have full legal capacity to enter into contracts;
- You provide truthful, accurate, current and complete information;
- You are not prevented, for any reason, from contracting the Services.
- If you are contracting on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have sufficient authority to bind it to these Terms.
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Websites and Services, you agree not to engage in, and not to allow third parties to engage in, the following conduct:
- Use the Websites for unlawful, fraudulent or rights-infringing purposes;
- Violate intellectual property rights, trademarks, trade secrets or any other rights held by B2Tech or third parties;
- Publish, transmit or disseminate defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, obscene, threatening or hate-inciting content;
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, chain letters or pyramid schemes;
- Introduce viruses, worms, trojans, malware or any malicious code into the Websites;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, servers or databases, including reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly or exploitation of vulnerabilities;
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers or any automated data extraction technique without prior express authorisation, except as allowed by robots.txt;
- Collect personal data of other Users without consent;
- Carry out denial of service (DoS/DDoS), brute force or similar attacks;
- Bypass security mechanisms, rate limiting or anti-abuse protections;
- Use the Websites in any way that may harm, overload or compromise the normal operation of the Services.
6. User-Submitted Content
By submitting User Content (e.g., messages, comments, questions) through the Websites, you:
- Represent that you hold all rights over the submitted Content or have sufficient authorisation to make it available;
- Grant B2Tech a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual and revocable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, translate and display the Content solely for operating and improving the Services;
- Assume full responsibility for the Content, indemnifying B2Tech against third-party claims arising from it;
- Agree that B2Tech may, at its discretion, remove Content that violates these Terms, applicable law or third-party rights, without prior notice.
- B2Tech does not pre-screen all User Content and cannot guarantee its truthfulness, accuracy or suitability.
7. Intellectual Property
All Content published on the Websites — including text, images, videos, code, layout, design, trademarks, logos, trade names and course materials — is the exclusive property of B2Tech or its respective licensors, and is protected by Brazilian and international copyright (Law No. 9,610/1998), industrial property (Law No. 9,279/1996) and international treaties.
- The reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, communication to the public, reverse engineering or commercial use of the Content without prior express authorisation from B2Tech is prohibited, except for legally permitted fair use (brief citation with attribution).
- The "B2Tech" trademark, logo and other distinctive signs are owned by B2Tech. Their use without authorisation is prohibited.
- Any infringement should be reported to [email protected] for immediate action.
- Users retain the copyrights in Content they author, subject to the licence granted under section 6.
8. Links to Third-Party Websites
The Websites may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services that are not operated or controlled by B2Tech. B2Tech is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, commercial practices or any damages arising from access to such third-party sites. Access is at your own risk and you should review the terms and policies specific to each service.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
B2Tech's processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at b2tech.io/en/privacy, which you acknowledge and accept by using the Services. In case of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on data protection matters, the Privacy Policy prevails.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Websites and Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, absolute security or non-infringement of third-party rights, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
- B2Tech will make reasonable efforts to keep the Websites operational, updated and secure, but does not guarantee the absence of failures, interruptions, delays or inaccuracies.
- Technical content published on the blog and in educational materials is for informational purposes only and does not replace specialised professional advice (legal, medical, financial, tax, etc.).
- Decisions made based on the Content are the sole responsibility of the User.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, B2Tech, its directors, employees, service providers and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive damages or loss of profits arising from the use or inability to use the Websites or Services, even if warned of the possibility of such damages.
- B2Tech's total aggregate liability to the User, in any event, is limited to the amount effectively paid by the User to B2Tech in the 12 (twelve) months preceding the triggering event, or, if the Service is free of charge, to BRL 100.00 (one hundred Brazilian reais).
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits B2Tech's liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, harm to life, health or physical integrity, or for violations of rights which, by law, cannot be limited (including consumer rights where applicable).
- B2Tech is not liable for acts or omissions of third parties, including hosting providers, telecommunications operators, payment services and linked websites.
12. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless B2Tech, its directors, employees, service providers and licensors against any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy by the User; (ii) violation of third-party rights by the User; (iii) Content submitted by the User; or (iv) misuse of the Websites and Services.
13. Suspension and Termination
B2Tech may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate User access to the Websites and Services, in whole or in part, with or without prior notice, in the following cases:
- Violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy;
- Violation of applicable law;
- Provision of false or inaccurate information;
- Abusive, fraudulent or harmful conduct towards third parties;
- Judicial or administrative order.
- The User may, at any time, cease using the Websites and request the deletion of their personal data through the channel indicated in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) shall remain in force.
14. Changes to the Terms
B2Tech reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Websites or by e-mail, when appropriate, with reasonable advance notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the new version constitutes tacit acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you must cease using the Services before the effective date.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, regardless of conflict of law principles. The parties elect the Courts of the Judicial District of Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, as the competent forum to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms, waiving any other, however privileged.
- Users qualifying as consumers under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code may choose the forum of their domicile.
- Users residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom or jurisdictions with more protective consumer rules retain the local statutory rights that cannot be contractually waived.
- The parties may, at any time, seek amicable resolution of disputes before resorting to the courts, by direct communication to [email protected].
16. General Provisions
Final provisions applicable to these Terms:
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties on the subject matter, superseding any prior understandings.
- Severability: the invalidity or unenforceability of any clause shall not affect the others, which shall remain in full force.
- No waiver: tolerance by one party of the other's non-compliance with any clause does not imply waiver of the right to demand future compliance.
- Assignment: the User may not assign or transfer their rights and obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from B2Tech. B2Tech may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, in cases of corporate reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure: neither party shall be liable for non-performance due to acts of God or force majeure, under art. 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code.
- Notices: official communications between the parties shall be made in writing, to the e-mail addresses indicated in these Terms.
